Magda Kröner (1854 Rendsburg - 1935 Düsseldorf) married in 1883 their teachers, the major hunting and landscape painter Johann Christian Kröner. In 1895, in London's Crystal Palace receives for a still life with flowers and fruits the bronze medal in 1899 at the same place for a flower picture the silver medal. After the turn of the century Magda Kröner reached the zenith of its public recognition: The German Kaiser Wilhelm II acquires 1901 the paintings "The Corner" and "Red Poppies", the Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Meiningen 1903 "St. Mary day".
