Rudolf Ausleger studied with Georg Tappert and Bernhard Hasler at the State Art School and finally did his exam in art education. First, he works at higher schools in Berlin. From 1920 he joined the November group, which included Otto Dix, George Grosz, Raoul Hausmann, John Heartfield and Hannah Höch. As a result, cantilevers take part in exhibitions at home and abroad. From 1933 his art was ostracized and classified as degenerate. Much of his work was destroyed during the bombing on Berlin. After the Second World War, he became a lecturer at the Berlin University of Education.
