"The drive through Patagonia. On the way to the South Pole and to Tierra del Fuego I met in elementary excitement the area between Humboldtstrom, the Pacific and the ocean. A sudden change in the weather made being on the move torture. Because over the Pacific blowing a warm air, which meets the cold Humboldt stream, so that everything swirls and the vertically sweeping from top to bottom blizzards alternate with sudden onset of rain. This results in dreamlike rainbows. The land disappears here and reappears there." Günther Uecker
