Life is in full glory: framed by a dense embankment, the brook flows under a wooden bridge at Gammel Kjøgegaard, a place near Køge south of Copenhagen. Covered over and over with water lily leaves and occasional water lilies, the surroundings are reflected on the surface of the water. Two startled ducks fly cackling into the adjacent bushes. A meadow with a forest can be discovered behind the harmonious scenery.
