Typical of his works are the strict, almost graphic design of his pictures, as can be seen in the flower still life around 1930. A dark beige vase stands imposingly on a beige tablecloth with brown and green stripes on the side. In front of the dark blue-green background, the flowers in white, pink, red, light blue and of course green color nuances shine particularly strikingly. The sharply outlined contour to the background is what makes it so attractive.
