Information about the artist

Charles J. Palmié began his art education when he was only 14 years old as a decorative painter, later on, he studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. The talented artist quickly gained popularity and did a lot of commissioned work, such as the painting for the Leonhardi-Museum in Dresden. Durings his journeys through the Alps, along the river Donau and to Italy, Palmié found the landscapes that he formed into late impressionisticmaster pieces.
